Our Services

At Two Nine K9 we use balanced training methods to achieve a reliable dog that clearly understands what is expected of them. We understand every owner has different goals and challenges with their dog and we believe that those goals should be our focus. Following one mandatory introductory lesson, we offer custom packages for those who have very specific goals. The custom packages vary in price and lesson count. We also have complete packages for those who want all we have to offer at their dogs level. All of our lessons are in-home so we travel to you and train in your local area.

Not sure if Two Nine K9 is the right fit for you and your pup? Our Intro to Training Package is the perfect way to start. This comprehensive two-hour session introduces you to the essential dog training theories that form the foundation for long-term success.

During the session, we’ll cover:

  • The key principles of operant and classical conditioning in application to dog training

  • Loose Leash Walking

  • Practical insights tailored to your dog’s specific needs, helping you prepare for future training challenges.

These core concepts are revisited frequently throughout all of our training programs, ensuring you fully understand what you’re doing and why—empowering you to achieve lasting results with your dog.


Introductory Lesson

Functional obedience lessons package

Starting at $900 (+6 months old)

This package is for owners who want complete on-leash functional obedience for dogs 6 months or older. The package includes 6 one-hour lessons. In these lessons we will teach the sit, down, place, heel, and recall commands and address common behavioral issues.

Starting at $1500 (+9 months old)

This package is only for owners who have completed our on-leash program, or have proven competency with the on-leash program curriculum. In this program, we will expand on the dog’s previous training and create a reliable level of off-leash obedience. The package includes 7 hours of training. In these lessons you will learn how to properly use e-collar equipment, recall, distance down, and off leash heeling.

Off-leash private lessons package

puppy Lessons package

Starting at $450 (-6 months old)

This package is for anyone with a puppy under 6 months old who wants to learn how they can be the best owner they possibly can. In these lessons we will use positive reinforcement to shape behaviors and lay the foundation for your dog to be successful in our on and off-leash programs later in their life. In these lessons you will learn how to introduce pressure and luring to teach your dog sit, down, place, and heel. We cover management strategies such as crate training and potty training.

Intro to Schutzhund/IGP

Starting at $80 a lesson with at least 2 lessons a week

(+3 months old)

These lessons are for owners who have or plan to get a sport dog to train and compete in IGP. In these lessons you will learn foundational skills for the tracking, obedience, and protection routines in the IGP/Schutzhund sport.
